Born and raised in Midland, John French began his music studies at the age of five with piano lessons. From these early piano lessons, the love of music lead to a B.Mus. Degree from Wilfrid Laurier University, an ARTC in piano performance and studies in Salzburg, Austria.
Further music education came in the way of a Master’s Degree in Musicology from the University of Toronto and additional post-graduate studies of 19th century vocal music. John subsequently earned a Master’s of Business Administration in Arts Administration degree at York University.
